The toddlers are a special, curious group of people at Needham Children's Center. They are mobile, talkative, thoughtful, social and very curious. They need a special space and developmentally appropriate curriculum created just for them. Our program provides a challenging and safe environment geared towards exploration and learning. Toddlers are so delighted at the simplest things: a rainbow on the wall, putting a matchbox car through shaving cream and they love learning about those little creatures such as bugs and fish. We paint, paste, sing, and participate in water play, work on self-help and sharing skills, and of course, engage in the fine art of conversation.
